How To Use The SpotON3D Grid-2-Grid TP Map 1.0

To empower the universal map and teleportation system you need to educate folks on the steps to take to use it effectively. 

1.)    CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR CLIENT IS UPDATED :: You need to make sure you have the latest client from SPOTON3D or you won’t be able to enter into the main areas of our grid system. Its super easy to do. Just go the to the SpotON3D home portal page, http://spoton3d.com and click on the DOWNLOADS link at the top of the page. You can also click this link to go to that page directly: http://info.spoton3d.com/pages/downloads

2.)    INSTALL OVERWRITING THE ORIGINAL :: Once you are sure you have the latest and greatest in our client, then you need to install it. It will automatically  overwrite your existing version. You may need to reset your settings to your preferences and yes, we know that’s a pain and fixing that is on our to-do list.

3.)    OPEN THE INWORLD BIG MAP :: Once you’ve got the client installed login as usual to your HOME GRID, or the grid you first logged into through SpotON3D. Once logged in you’ll want to look at the bottom of your world window and to the right and click on the button titled MAP. This should open up a big map of the grid you are presently in.

4.)    SELECT YOUR GRID OF CHOICE :: With the big map open you want to look to the upper right hand corner and location the SELECT GRID drop down box and a blank box below it. Click on the arrow for the SELECT GRID and choose the grid you with to teleport to.

5.)    SELECT THE AVATAR OF CHOICE, OR IF THERE IS NOT ONE LISTED, MANUALLY ADD AN AVATAR BY CHOOSING LOGIN SCEEN AND LOGGING IN LIKE NORMAL :: Once that selection has been made you’ll see the box below it go active with the title SELECT ACCOUNT in it. Click on the arrow to see the avatar names you have to choose from. If you’ve never been to a different grid on the SpotON3D Network, then you won’t see any avatar names. Instead you’ll see a line and LOGIN SCREEN at the bottom. That means you need to get it to recognize your avatar for that grid first before the client can remember who you are for easy teleporting next time.  Check to make sure the grid you wished to go to is in the QUICK GRID SELECT box and login as usual.

6.)    THE NEXT TIME YOU CHOSE TO GRID TP YOU SHOULD SEE THAT AVATAR AS AN OPTION AND BE ABLE TO JUST CLICK AND GO!

Why VeeSome Charges $2.99/mth For Premium Accounts

There are many reasons we charge a monthly fee. Since we are a mixed age grid system
that accommodates all walks of life from the web and the real world, its important to us to
make our citizens know they are accountable for their behaviors.

1.) Monthly verifications of accounts via our small payment through PayPal(r) means we know
      our users are real people and not facades without having to ask invasive private questions.
      THIS MEANS YOUR PRIVACY IS ALWAYS PROTECTED FRM THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL.
   
 2.) Then only way to verify through PayPal(r) is to pass through some type of fee.

 3.)  Only Premium Accounts can Rez, Build, Script, List Item for sale, Rent land and more. This is to
       ensure that the community supports all its members and their investment fairly.

 4.) With our users knowing their real identity is verified to us behind their avatar it usually
      compels them to keep it real and behave in a much more meaningful and real manner.
     
 5.) Reduces the threat of griefing, which makes our grid far more stable and secure.
       We've all seen it and there are still ways for those little hackers to make a nuisance
       of themselves, but by requiring they reveal themselves to enable the functionalities
       to grief really does cut the threat down tremendously. This also means that you, the
       user should be VERY CAREFUL about 'loaning out' avatar to others, as your Key Account
       as a whole will be at risk if someone griefs in one of our avatars. Use it wisely.

6.)  The government is becoming increasingly demanding on online communities to have some
       Knowledge of their user's real world identities, due to the recent wave of criminal behaviors
       associations with online interactions; i.e., kids committing suicide over ruthless taunting in
       forums and blogs, rape, stalking, kidnapping and murder have been the sad results for some.
       The governments from around the world are now pushing for us, the web community gatekeepers
       to step up to the plate and help out. We think this is not only reasonable, but a responsible
       thing for us to do.
      
7.)  We want kids to be safe on our grid. Why? Because they are the future of this technology after all,
       but the only way to know they truly are is if we put the power back into the hands of their parents.
       Most parent guard their PayPal password far safer than they do their credit cards. Why? Because its
       directly tied to their banking info. This means that for a child to get into our grid they'd have to be old
       enough to have a bank account and knowledgeable enough to use it and they have to be able to run
       through all the steps PayPal does and prove to them that they are an adult of legal age. These barriers
       aren't impossible to overcome, but enough to that 98% of most kids will not try to circumvent them.
       This means to be on our grid their parents have to be involved but adding them in under their own
       Key Account. This puts them in charge and we think that's how it should be.      

 8.) We don't charge upload fees or listing fees, which people usually spend much more than $2.99
       on per month. Most people prefer this to paying for uploads and listing fees.
   
 9.) We saw in other grids that a very small segment of the community actually paid for their
       experience in virtual and we felt that was an unfair burden and was one of the many reasons
       why costs for owning virtual land were so high. Be making full functional accounts pay for their
       play, then  that imbalance is corrected and everyone shares the load.

  10.)  YES, it does helps us to pay our bills. We are not a non-profit, though sometimes we feel a lot
        like one. We do have very big ideas on how this can help our economy, ecology and families. But,
        having said that, we don't have 20m+ in investment funding to back us and not sure we are keen
        on that at this stage, as they would take our vision in a different direction, as we've all seen.
        YOU are out investors. Your contribution to this 3D Web system will pave the way to the future
        of the web experience. To have a say in that you need to become a part of that solution and yes,
        that means giving up on the idea that everything should can be free. One has to ask at what cost
        does such freedom come?
